South Kingstown School District Announces Open Applications for Community Subcommittee Positions
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI - The South Kingstown School District is accepting applications for community member positions on various school subcommittees, as part of its commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable community participation.
The School Committee, in accordance with Section 4.5 of its bylaws, has initiated an open application process for all available subcommittee positions. The application period will run for a minimum of two weeks, during which interested community members can submit their applications.
The selection process will be competitive and transparent, featuring:
-A comprehensive rubric-based evaluation system
-Final approval by School Committee majority vote
Positions are open on the following subcommittees:
-Budget
-Transportation
-Policy
-Strategic Planning
-Wellness
