MATUNUCK SCHOOL KINDNESS ASSEMBLY
High Schooler puts together a cheer club at her old elementary school.
Wakefield, RI 4/28 — Matunuck Elementary School held a kindness assembly featuring the high school cheerleaders. The assembly was part of the school's ongoing efforts to promote kindness and compassion among its students.
The assembly began with a message from Mrs. DeAlmo, who talked about the importance of kindness and how it can make a difference in the world. She introduced the Cheer Club and Leah Welshman who began the Cheer Club at her old elementary school. The message was followed by a performance by the high school cheerleaders, and the Matunuck Cheer Club who led the students in a series of cheers and songs about kindness.
During the performance, the students performed tumbling tricks across the stage and shared the kindness cheer they created for the school. The assembly ended with students in the audience joining in to perform the kindness cheer and promising to make Matunuck School an even kinder place.
The kindness assembly was a success. The students learned about the importance of kindness and had fun doing it. The assembly is just one of the many ways that Matunuck Elementary School is promoting kindness and compassion among its students.
Here are some of the things that the students learned during the assembly:
- Kindness can make the world a better place.
- There are many ways to be kind, even small things can make a difference.
- It's important to be kind to everyone, even people who are different from us.
The students at Matunuck Elementary School are committed to making their school a more kind and compassionate place. They are learning that kindness is important, and they are finding ways to put it into practice.
