Wakefield School students, parents, and teachers participated in a Peace Walk along Main Street in Wakefield to commemorate the Civil Rights walk that took place 40 years ago. There will be a course offered for
Wakefield School parents and guardians on the
philosophies and practical application of
nonviolence and conflict reconciliation
based on the
life and work of Dr. Martin L. King Jr.

This course, led by certified nonviolence trainer
Robin Wildman, will be offered evenings
at Wakefield School, beginning this Fall!
(Dates and times to be announced in September)
We will meet for 4 sessions and share information with each other about
conflicts we have experienced and how we can achieve reconciliation. In addition,
you will gain information about the Principles and Skills of nonviolence,
how they have been applied throughout history, and how students and staff
are using them at Wakefield School!
