Thank you to the PTO and all who contributed to the wonderful breakfast, the delicious luncheon, the beautiful flowers and the very relaxing massage.  We truly appreciate all your efforts and planning that went into the week’s activities.  Thank you!!

FUNDRAISER…
    Two of our very own West Kingston Elementary School students, Ryan Hassell, a 2nd grader, and Douglas Barlow, a 5th grader, are organizing a fundraiser for their neighborhood friend, 7 year old Grace Caldarone, who has CMT disease.  CMT is a muscle and nerve wasting disease that causes severe limitations of the use of her feet/legs and hands/arms.  There is no cure yet for CMT.
    The boys are asking for their fellow students to join them in bringing in loose change and donating to “COINS FOR A CURE”.  All money goes exclusively to research for a cure.  For more information, please go to www.charcot-marie-tooth.org/Grace.php. Thank you!!

PTO NEWS…
Thanks to all who helped out during teacher appreciation week.  The breakfast and luncheon were a huge success.  We could not have done this without all the yummy food contributions from WKES parents.  Once again the show of support was wonderful and very much appreciated!  If you have a dish that you brought food in on, they are in the teacher’s room for pick up.  We will leave them there until the end of the year.

PTO Elections
At the last PTO meeting, we held our annual board members elections.  Thanks to all who showed up at the meeting and thanks to all who are very generously volunteering their time to become a member of the board.
