REMINDER OF PROCEDURES…
Signing out your children
Please remember that you must come into the school and sign out your children if they are not riding the bus home.
Do not ask your children to meet you at your car or take them out of a bus line without coming in to sign for them.
This policy is for the safety of your children.  If a child does not go home on the bus as planned and a parent calls the school, we are able to tell them who the child went home with.  Occasionally, there is a mis-communication at home and one guardian is waiting at the bus stop, not knowing another picked the child up.  If the procedures are followed properly, we would be able to look on the sign-out sheet to see who picked up the child.

Dropping off your children
Please do not drop off your children until 8:30.  The students do not have supervision until 8:30 when the teacher assistants arrive.
Again, it is a safety issue.

Arriving to school on time
The morning announcements are done at 8:45.  The students should be in the classroom to hear the announcements, order their lunches, and be ready for the day.

PERFORMANCE FESTIVAL AT BRMS…
Students participating in the Performance Festival at BRMS have been assigned times to play before a judge.  The judge will hear their piece and give them a grade.  The judge will tally the score based on posture, technique, accuracy, tone quality, rhythm, musical expression, etc.  Good luck to all the participants!

YEARBOOK PHOTOS…
We are starting to assemble the yearbook, but really need more photos.  Please send them in to school via backpack express in an envelope marked “YEARBOOK Veronica Thompson”.  The scrapbook style yearbook that is being made requires lots of pictures and we would like to put as much as possible in there.
The next Yearbook meeting will be April 21, 7:30 pm in the library.

PTO NEWS…
PTO Meeting
The next PTO meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23rd at 3:15 in the West Kingston library.

Boys Night Out Bowling
Thursday, April 10, 6-8 pm @ Old Mountain Lanes
It will be a great night out with the adult of the boys’ choice and lots of fun bowling with classmates.  Questions, call Deb Sprague at 792-9131.

Your Child’s Art
Be on the lookout for YOUR CHILD’S ART…  It’s on a FREE MAGNET, now isn’t that smart?  Our kids are excited; it’s one of a kind! But ordering more products is a rare find!  Stationery, ornaments, mouse pads and more…shirts, aprons, tiles, TOO GOOD to ignore!  We always need gifts for family and friends…not to mention keepsakes where memories never end!  A deadline is required…and, we must “do our thing”.  Just imagine your child’s art and the praise that it will bring!
Please note there is a short turn around time as to ensure a timely delivery for upcoming special days (Mother’s Day and Father’s Day).  The deadline to get orders in is APRIL 8TH.  We cannot accept orders after this date.  Hope you enjoy this great fundraiser!  33% of the proceeds go back to the school.  Thanks for all of your support!
