PENNIES FOR PATIENTS…
Pennies for Patients will end tomorrow. Last week with
your donated coins, the school was able to raise $252.40 for children
struggling with cancer; combined with the week before we have a total
of $514.56. It is amazing how quickly spare change from each child can
add up. What a wonderful way for our children to see what they
can do to help another child. Thanks so much for all of your support!
SALT VISIT…
Our visit by the State SALT team is over and we are
awaiting their report. The report will reflect the strengths they saw
in learning & teaching while visiting, and also highlights areas that we
can focus on to make WK an even better school. The report will be posted
on the RIDE website in a few weeks.
Thanks to the faculty and staff for their hard work
in preparing for the visit and a special thanks to parents Tricia Angeli and
Lisa DeMaria for their help before and during the visit.
