This family fun night will be packed with beautiful art work by our very own West Kingston artists.  Come enjoy the art work, talent and hard work of our students.  Enjoy an ice cream sundae for $1 per person and stop by the book fair to browse and pick up some great books to get ready for plenty of reading this summer.  We are gearing up for a fun event.  Come see the smiles on the children’s faces as they proudly show you their displayed work.  Hope to see you there!!!

VOLUNTEERS still welcome TO SET UP/TAKE DOWN ART WORK ON JUNE 7th.  Please  e-mail Holly Harrington, art teacher, @ hharrington@skschools.net if you are able to spend a little time hanging up our children’s beautiful work to display for all to enjoy!  Set up starts at 2:00 pm – stop by for an hour before dismissal to help us hang up the masterpieces.  Breakdown starts at 8 pm.  Many hands welcome!

SURVEY – Your input needed!!
The PTO has sent home an evaluation of this year’s activities.  Please take a few moments to jot down your evaluation.  This information will be very helpful in planning next year’s activities.  There is also a space where you can make suggestions for future projects/events.  We try to offer a variety of fun and enriching programs and your input is greatly welcomed!  Please return surveys by Monday, June 11th.

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION
Please keep clipping!  This is a great fundraiser for our school and the tops are on many products that your family uses everyday…cereal, ziplocks, etc.  Send in yours via backpack express.  Thanks!!!

SOX TOPS FOR KIDS…
The school has enrolled in a program where the school will receive 5 cents per Sox Tops caps which can be found on gallon, half-gallon, quart and pint bottles of Hood milk.
The program will run from now until October 31, 2007.  Please send your Sox Tops caps to the office.  If you can collect them over the summer and send them to the school in September, it would be very much appreciated.  The Mobil gas station in West Kingston is also collecting them for our school.  You can also drop them off there.
Proceeds will be used to supplement the bus costs for field trips.
