MCGRATH’S CLASS PROJECT…
The class has received several letters from soldiers in the 38th Engineer Company stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq.  Each letter expressed appreciation for the packages that the classes sent to them.  The letters from the students were passed around for all to read and the pictures are now posted in the hallway for all to enjoy.
If anyone wants to write a letter or draw a picture, Mrs. Peckham will be sending a box to her son in a couple of weeks and will be happy to include them.

FINAL REPORT CARDS…
All report cards will be kept until the last day of school, June 21st.  If for some reason your child will not be present on the last day of school, please leave a self-addressed stamped envelope at the office or plan to stop by the school between June 21st and June 29th to pick up final report cards.

Please e-mail Holly Harrington, art teacher, @ hharrington@skschools.net if you are able to spend a little time in hanging up our children’s beautiful work to display for all to enjoy.  Many hands will definitely make this process much easier.  This is a great way to help make this activity a success!  Set up starts at 3:15 pm and breakdown starts at 8 pm.

Survey Coming
The PTO will be sending home an evaluation of this year’s activities soon.  Please take a few moments to jot down your evaluation.  This information will be very helpful in planning next year’s activities.  There will also be a space where you can make suggestions for future projects/events.  We try to offer a variety of fun and enriching programs and your input is greatly welcomed!  Watch your backpacks for a PTO survey to be sent home soon.

Just a reminder – with the warm, sunny weather approaching (hopefully), please be mindful of applying all day sun block on your child, if necessary, before they leave in the A.M.  Our policy is that staff cannot be responsible for applying sun block on students throughout the day for the various outdoor activities.  Any questions, feel free to call me or Mrs. Nettik.
