TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK…
May 7th -11th is Teacher Appreciation Week. This week is set aside
nationwide to acknowledge the work that educators do. If you would
like, write a note or card letting them know how much you appreciate
the work they do, or to just say thanks. I know it will mean a
lot to them. Our teachers and TAs work hard to see that your children
receive the highest quality education possible. I am proud and
happy to have such a wonderful staff and hope you share that pride and
joy with me.

can schedule appointments by calling Nancy Perry at 360-1307. Walk-ins
will be accepted until 3:00.
SCHOOL CULTURE AND STUDENT BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS REFRESHER…
As we head into this final quarter, it is a good time to review school
rules. Please review the following school rules with your children.
School Rules:
- Respect yourself and others.
- Keep your hands, feet, objects and unkind words to yourself.
- Follow directions first time given.
- Use quiet voices and walk when in common areas.
- Make your own responsible choices.
All of the adults in the building will be enforcing the school rules
in a consistent manner. Having and enforcing consistent expectations
makes the school a more pleasant and safe place for everyone. A
committee of teachers is working on strategies to support our rules school
wide. As these are refined, they will be shared in the Newsletter
and at school assemblies.

PTO Board Members Needed!

completing their terms. We are looking for a few volunteers to keep the
PTO thriving. YOU would be perfect to work on the PTO board!!!! Yes,
YOU! Please consider sharing your time and talents
on the PTO board as a way to help create great memories for your child. New,

job sharing with a friend or two. It’s not hard and
others will show you what needs to be done.
