SKEF…
The South Kingstown Education Foundation is now accepting grant applications
for the 2007/2008 school year. This will be the fourth year of
awarding grants. Grants are given to projects that further excellence
in South Kingstown Schools or that strengthen the relationships between
the district’s schools and the community. There are more
funds available each year due to the Education Foundation’s growing
endowment earnings and the increasingly generous donations received
through the Teacher Recognition Appeal held each December. Grant
applications are available at all of the district’s schools and
are due by March 16. They should be mailed to the South Kingstown
Education Foundation, 307 Curtis Corner Road, Wakefield, RI 02879,
in care of the grant committee. Awards will be announced in June. Call
360-1319 with questions. Thanks! Marybeth McGreen
