Finalize decisions regarding post-secondary options

Course Objectives:	Performance Indicators:
Understand specifics of post-secondary process Share status of post-secondary future plans and become a respectful, healthy, productive and responsible citizen Participate in personal assessment utilizing effective communication skills Explore financial aid and scholarship opportunities Involve families in post-secondary financial planning Distribute pertinent senior information through a variety of venues Continue to learn about various post-secondary options Take advantage of opportunities to develop decision making skills, acquire interpersonal skills and participate responsibly in the school community *Provide a welcoming environment	The student will: Participate in post-secondary planning meeting Meet with individual counselors to discuss and review post-secondary plans Will be encouraged to complete a personal assessment Participate in financial aid assembly Encourage parents & students to attend Financial Aid Night Families will receive information through the web site, senior bulletin, scholarship bulletin, assorted post-secondary materials and other avenues Take advantage of college visits, college representatives and armed forces visits Feel comfortable enough to visit the guidance office frequently *Participate in individual counseling sessions as needed
