2. www.collegeboard.com/quick - My SAT Study Plan

My College QuickStart is a free personalized tool for students to prepare for life beyond high school. Students sign in at www.collegeboard.com/quickstart. Students will need their official paper PSAT/NMSQT Score Report, which contains their access code, as well as a collegeboard.com student account. Based on your PSAT performance, view suggestions for improving your skills and answer the related SAT Practice questions.

Getting ready for college includes getting prepared for the SAT. The classes will cover the content areas of the SAT and offer practice in test-taking techniques. Find out what your weak subject areas are now, then study the real thing.

$124 tuition and $5 registration fee - $129 8 meetings @ CCRI Warwick campus

On-line SAT Preparation (Part 1) – Prepare for the critical reading and writing sections of the SAT and the reading, English and science sections of the ACT

On-line SAT Preparation (Part 2) – Prepare for the mathematics sections of both the SAT and ACT, including the Student Produced Response questions on the SAT.

2. SAT Preparation classes at Rocky Hill School in East Greenwich

Paul Tukey, Director of College Counseling @ Rocky Hill School will offer an SAT preparation program designed specifically to prepare high school juniors for the May 3, 2008 SAT: Reasoning test.

$400 tuition, with a non-refundable deposit of $200 to secure a place in the class
40 hour course, consisting of 8 sessions held on consecutive Sundays: March 9 – April 27, 2008
(Easter weekend classes will be held on Saturday, March 22)
Two sessions available each Sunday: 8:00am – 1:30pm and 2:00pm – 7:30pm

3. Revolution Prep at South Kingstown High School

Revolution Prep will offer two classes for the spring 2008 SAT test dates. Revolution courses include:
• 200-point Score Improvement Guarantee
• 6 three-hour classroom lectures and 5 practice exams (held on Saturday sessions)
• online access to test scores and detailed analysis
• personalized feedback on your essays
• all sessions held at SKHS
• Hybrid program adds 4 hours of private tutoring (additional $300)

$499 fee, with financial assistance provided for eligible students
Wednesday or Thursday sessions: 6:00 – 9:00pm Saturday sessions: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Prepare for the May 3, 2008 SAT – Classes: March 15 – April 30 on Wednesdays and Saturdays
Prepare for the June 8, 2008 SAT - Classes: April 26 – June 5 on Thursdays and Saturdays
